The Study Visit in order to learn about Good Governance of Water Resources Coalition Management in Thailand

​From February 16th to 20th, 2015, Mr. Sin Viseth, Director of Department of Exploitation Control and Conservation and Deputy Director of the Cross-Border Project on Good Governance of Water Resources Management between Tonle Sap Lack (Cambodia) and Songkhla River Basin (Thailand), under World Bank's assistance and facilitated by Cambodian National Mekong Committee, led the project implementation group to pay a study visit in order to learn about good governance of water resources coalition management in Thailand. This visit aims to:
– Comprehend the current status of the river of the two countries;
– Raise awareness on water resources coalition management and the living conditions of the people, especially the poor people living around the river of the two countries;
– Exchange experiences and valuable information from each other; and
– Mutually exchange recommendations in order to improve water resources coalition management and the status of the river of the two countries.[Unofficial Translation]​
