H.E Hel Tony, Secretary General, to Attend the Consultation Workshop on the Preliminary Draft of the National Indicative Plan 2016-2020

On 16-17 November 2015, H.E. Hell Tony, Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority, attended the consultation workshop on the preliminary draft of the National Indicative Plan 2016-2020 (NIP) for the Mekong Basin Development Strategy, organized by the Cambodian National Mekong Committee at Angkor Paradai Hotel in Siem Reap City and attended by Secretary Generals, Deputy Secretary Generals, Directors, Deputy Directors,  and officials who are members of the NIP preparation team, representation from member ministries and institutions, and national experts in a total of 24 participants.

This workshop aimed to review the NIP 2011-2015 by agreeing to extract the projects that have not yet been implemented as the ministry's new plan to prepare and edit for the inclusion in the public investment projects and to discuss the improvements on the content of the NIP 2016-2020. NIP 2016-2020 is the action plan, including investment projects and activities in which the actions that were achieved as the goals of the MRC, core decentralization action, cross-border cooperation projects borders with Vietnam, Laos and Thailand, and a major national projects for the management and development of water resources and related resources in the Mekong Basin.​
