Activities of the Research about the conflict interest among the stakeholders in using natural resources in areas around Tonle Sap Lake sustainably in Kampong Thom Province
On 19 - 21 November 2015, Mr. Yan Samrith, Director of the Department of Legislation and Extension and the team, Research about the conflict interest among the stakeholders in using natural resources in areas around Tonle Sap Lake sustainably to continue monitoring the implementation of laws and regulations in the management, conservation and development of natural resources and biodiversity conservation in Tonle Sap Lake and its related areas. This study was to explore the impacts and resolve the disputes arising from advantage derivation from the use of natural resources and to monitor the implementation of the regulations in resolving the dispute arising in Kampong Thom Province by meeting with local authorities (village/ commune), fishing communities and other stakeholders involved with the benefit sharing.
