H.E Hel Tony, Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority, to Attend the National Consultation Workshop in Siem Reap
On December 7-8, 2015 in Siem Reap city, H.E Hell Tony, Secretary General of Tony Sap Authority, attended the National Consultation Workshop on the Report of the Implementation of the Procedures for the Maintenance of Flows on the Mainstream from 2011 to 2015 (PMFM) and the Draft of the Technical Guidelines on the Implementation of Maintaining the Water Flow of the Mekong River and the Technical Guidance on Socio-Economic Assessment of the MRC. The workshop was attended by officials of the member ministries and institution, in a total of 42 participants. This seminar was organized in order to monitor, discuss and collect opinions from relevant ministries and institutions on the draft report on the implementation of PMFM and the current technical guidelines as well as to improve the implementation of PMFM of the relevant ministries and institutions.
The workshop was also expected that the participants would gain knowledge about the process and results of the implementation of PMFM 2011-2025 via the study-implementation curriculum by member countries including the a pilot implementation of the water flow framework and learn about the use of system DevInfo or the socio-economic database management system (SEDB), the standard form of MRC member countries to provide data and information in the process of assessing the socio-economic planning of Mekong Basin to MRC.
