Participation in the Consultation Meeting on the Preparation on the Creation of the Monitoring System and Forecasting Drought in the Lower Mekong Basin

On 22 January 2016, Mr. Vin bunpov, Director in charge of the Department of Natural Resources, attended the Consultation Meeting on the Preparation on the Creation of the Monitoring System and Forecasting Drought in the Lower Mekong Basin at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh, which was led by H.E Long Savuth, Deputy Secretary-General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee and was participated from officials of Tonle Sap Authority, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Environment, and the National Committee for Disaster Management, a total of 15 images.
The meeting had the purposes and to publicize the content as follow:
- Drought monitoring and forecasting system
- Edit and search for methods to improve monitoring and forecasting system
- Install equipment to monitor and forecast drought​
