Consultation Workshop on the Draft Report of Stakeholder Analysis for the Project Management on Tonle Sap Lake

​On February 10, 2016 in Siem Reap province, there was a workshop on the draft report of stakeholder analysis for the project on Tonle Sap (Cambodia) and Songkhla lake (Thailand) management of the cooperation project on the management on Tonle Sap Lake and Songkhla Lake under the cooperation with Tonle Sap Authorities and the Cambodian National Mekong Committee. The composition of the 39 participants was from relevant departments around the lake and fishing communities. The Workshop was held to consult with stakeholders to participate in reviewing and providing comments on the draft report of the relevant analysis’s for the project on Tonle Sap lake management which project team compiled in the past with meaningful content that could be applied via the transnational integrated water resources management project between the Tonle Sap (Cambodia) and Songkhla basin (Thailand) effectively. The purposes of the workshop comprise: (1) to identify and promote the understanding of the vision and the role of the relevant stakeholders (2) to analyze the relationships associated with the management and development of the Tonle Sap Lake and (3) to map of the participation of stakeholders.
