H.E Hell Tony, Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority, to Meet with the Japanese Delegation of the International Lake Environment Committee

​After finishing the Expert Team Meeting on Integrated Basin Lack Management (IBLM-Heartware) led and organized by Tonle Sap Authority, from February 14-16, 2016 in Siem Reap Province, H.E Hell Tony, Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority, met with the Japanese delegation of the International Lake Environment Committee (ILEC) in the afternoon of February 17, 2016 at the auditorium of Secretariat of Tonle Sap Authority in order to consolidate and strengthen cooperation network based on the concept of IBLM. With this meeting, the delegates of ILEC understood the benefits of Tonle Sap lake associated with Cambodian culture and accepted a proposal to examine the possibility with JICA and relevant stakeholders in supporting  Tonle Sap Authority, including:
1. The technical support to officials attending the World Water Conference in Indonesia at the end of 2016
2. The training the Training of Trainer about IBLM
 3. The expertise in designing documents \ technical reports involving IBLM of Tonle Sap Lake.
