The Data Collection on Dry Farming Land, Dry rice Yield, and Its Market in Pursat Province
On 02 to 05 March 2016, Mr. Meas Ouen, Advisor to Tonle Sap Authority, collected the data on farming land, Dry rice yield, and its market for compiling as information on agricultural crop around Tonle Sap Lake area in zone 1 and zone 2 of Pursat province. The purpose of this study is to collect data on summer farming land, summer farming yield, seed species, farming techniques, insects, diseases, pesticides, water sources, soil Texture, soil samples for soil quality testing, harvest and its market. In this study, the team met with village-commune authorities, district agricultural office, and interviewed with farmers as well as digs the soil to check the soil Texture, a description of the soil profile and soil samples for testing.
