From 12th to 15th February, 2018, H.E Khov Meas, Deputy Secretary General has conducted feasibility study of the natural tourism potential in the bird zones in Prey Koh area located at the border between Plov
Touk Commune and Prolay Meas Commune, where mixed birds are coming every year for foods in Kampong Chhnang. This area is currently under land invasion for agricultural crops, which affected fishery
shelters and birds’ finding their foods. It is also noticeable that the numbers of birds migrating to this area has been decreasing from year to year. The team has continued the same study in another tourism
potential area- the traditional ox carts located in Kampong Trolach Village, Kampong Trolach Commune, where tourists are visiting by boats and enjoying riding on the ox cart since 2016. The numbers of tourists
are increasing until the present.
