The Workshop on the Improvement on Awareness among Related Stockholders on the Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) in the National Plan
On 17 September 2015, H.E Hell Tony, Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority (TSA) and High Representative of Excellency Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology and Chairman of TSA, inaugurated the Workshop on the Improvement on Awareness among Related Stockholders on the Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) in the National Plan, organized by TSA in cooperation with the Cambodian National Mekong Committee (CNMC) at Stung Sen City, Kompong Thom Province. The workshop were participated by 34 people from TSA, CNMC, the Department of Water Resources, the Department of Water Resource and Meteorology, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries , the Department of Environment, the Fisheries Administration and other relevant communities of the provinces around Tonle Sap Lake. This workshop main to review, identify and discussed water resource Management arising in Tonle Sap Lake, to provide awareness and knowledge on IWRM implementation on support the project implementation with the main purpose to introduce and mainstream the concept of IWRM to the related stockholders in implementing the activities to support the implementation of the project implementation.
